Tax Appraisal District Parcel Mapping
Conversion of hardcopy or digital parcel maps to geo-referenced GIS databases attributed with Parcel IDs adds the mapping component to Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) databases. GDS provides parcel mapping services using existing aerial photography or works with the appraisal districts to acquire up-to-date aerial imagery. Parcels are digitized from existing hardcopy or digital parcel maps and identified with parcel ID numbers extracted from existing CAMA systems. The result of this process is a seamless, GIS database of all parcels.
